¡Bienvenidos!

Although I was born in the Oklahoma, where my family is originally from, I grew up in northern Argentina where I attended public schools all the way up to high school when I began attending an American Community School in Buenos Aires.  

 

I have lots of fond memories of Argentina and the many friends and culture that were such a significant part of shaping my childhood and formative years.

 

I met my future husband, Dave, there when we were about 10 years old and we ended up in the same boarding home in high school, attending the same college, and eventually getting married 31 years ago!  Like me, Dave was also born in the US, but grew up in Argentina and is also fluent in the language and culture of Argentina!

 

We have four great kids (including a wonderful daughter-in-law!), and we're fortunate enough to have them live close by so we get to see them every week!

 

In the past 4 years, I've had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica, Argentina, and Spain and would LOVE to tell you more about just how beautiful they are and what a wonderful experience it is to visit countries with such rich histories and culture!!

 

In fact, we just visited Spain this summer with the Spanish Club and are planning a trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2016.  I hope you'll seriously consider going along!!
